What is included in my ticket?
The purchase of any type of visit will always include access to the Permanent Collection of the Cathedral Museum and the Gelmirez Palace, as well as the visit to the MuSar. Tickets are valid for seven days from the date shown on the ticket. Each ticket may be used for only one access, which means, only one use per room.
How can I buy my tickets?
The purchase of tickets to visit the Cathedral of Santiago Museum and its various tours can be made both from one of the three physical points of sale of the Museum and from the website itself. On the website you can only pay with VISA or MASTERCARD cards, these being the only official means for advance ticket purchases.
No purchases or reservations can be made via e-mail, you can easily make the process yourself from the website. Tickets can be purchased up to 60 days in advance.
Does the Cathedral of Santiago Museum have a guide or audio guide service?

The Cathedral Museum offers different types of visits to suit all interests, some of them guided by specialized staff and others of free route. From the ticketing website you can select the type of visit you want (https://visitas.catedraldesantiago.es/).

Is it possible to request a ticket refund?

The Cathedral of Santiago Museum does not admit changes or refunds of tickets once they have been purchased, as stated in its Purchase Policy (https://visitas.catedraldesantiago.es/en/purchase-policy/).

Is the Santiago Cathedral Museum adapted to all types of accessibility?
Only partially, since the spaces of the Cathedral Museum are distributed in different rooms of the cathedral complex (archbishop’s palace, cloister building, etc.) which, due to their typology, makes impossible their complete adaptation
The Museum has one elevator in the Gelmirez Palace, where the Maestro Mateo Space and the temporary exhibition rooms are located.

Are there guided tours in English or other languages?
Yes, although the guided tours organized by the Cathedral Museum are usually in Spanish, there are options for visits in other languages that are identified on the ticket reservation website or at the Museum’s ticket offices.

Is it possible to go up individually to the Roofs and Carraca Tower area?
Due to the special characteristics of these spaces and their access through reserved areas of the cathedral, visits to the Roofs and the Carraca Tower are always made in groups and guided by specialized personnel. It is mandatory to stay with the group and follow the indications given at all times.
Does my ticket include access to the Cathedral of Santiago?

The individual visit to the interior of the basilica is free of charge, therefore, no entrance ticket is required. The main entrance to the Cathedral is located in the Platerías Square. To know the Cathedral’s opening hours, please consult: https://catedraldesantiago.es/liturgia/. In the case of groups or individuals accompanied by a guide, it is necessary to have the Museum ticket to access, at the appointed time, from the Museum to the Cathedral. Groups must always be guided by official guides previously accredited by the Cathedral.

I haven't received my tickets by email, what should I do?
If after purchasing the tickets you have not received the email with the confirmation and the ticket document, we recommend you to report the incident to our Visitor Service Centre by emailing atencionvisitante@catedraldesantiago.es or by calling 981 55 29 85.
